Duplicate Media Cleaner finds duplicate photos and videos on your Mac. Your privacy is simple: it does not collect, sell, or share any personal data.
What we collect
Nothing. Duplicate Media Cleaner has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
Your files stay on your device
Duplicate Media Cleaner only reads the folders you choose. It compares files by their bytes and (for images) their decoded pixels, entirely on your Mac. Your photos and videos are never uploaded. Moving duplicates sends them to the Trash, where you can recover them.
Network use
The app works fully offline. The only time it uses the network is if you send a message through the in-app support form.
Purchases
The one-time “Pro” in-app purchase is processed by Apple. Duplicate Media Cleaner does not receive or store payment information.
Contacting us
If you message us through the in-app support form, the details you submit (name, email, message) are processed by our form provider, Web3Forms, and delivered to our support email. We use them only to respond, and we don’t sell or share them.
Children
Duplicate Media Cleaner is suitable for all ages (rated 4+) and collects data from no one.
